I just want to thank everyone for their very kind words on Kona joining our family. I believe if any of you had the opportunity to meet Kona, you would adopt him in a second:) We’ve been asked if we will continue to foster and we love fostering, so once Kona settles in a bit more, we will try fostering again. That said, Kona has the final say about fostering…he has to be comfortable with it or we will not do it. I have a feeling Kona will be fine with it as he seems to enjoy the company of other dogs we meet on our walks…especially the ladies…Kona’s a bit of a charmer…he has all the lady dogs on our block in love with him!
In the meantime, I will post about Kona’s progress here. He’s making great progress and even barked once today to alert me to someone in the yard.. I believe that means he is beginning to think of this as his home. It’s all small steps but we’re both sure that in a few months Kona will shine to his true being and we can’t wait to see that happen.
Yay, Kona! Barking is a good sign! It means you are his family.

We, like you, remember Spencer everyday when we blog since y’all got us into this blogging stuff. We are glad to see you as a family of three once again. We’re all individuals and no two of us are totally alike. Kona can’t replace Spencer but he can sure help to fill at least 99% of the void left in your hearts by the loss of Spencer. We look forward to the sequel adventures of M,S &K. We love y’all.

Why, of course the ladies love him!!! Who could resist that face?
… and we’ll be here following all his new adventures!! :)
Ahhhhhh! Our hearts are warming again…..

The first bark from a rescue is beautiful music….a good sign that they believe they have something or someone to protect.
Oh what a bootiful doggie! I apologize for not having scrolled just one story down to see the exciting news! Huge congrats on adopting Kona – how lucky for you all! Can’t wait to follow his life with you down there!
Warm hugs and love xo

We are sure that Kona will be a wonderful ambassador for any foster.
He just seems like the type to take another under his paw and help them adjust.

Guys – I have to say I am so happy for all of you. You truly are a gift to these dear goldens. I wish I could do it but I hate to say, I would have a house full of them and be a major foster failure. Mind you, that wouldn’t be so bad now would it????
Yeah!!!
It’s just wonderful that a lost Golden has now found such a wonderful home. We are sending all our best wishes for you all…may you have a long, healthy and happy life in your new home, Kona!
