Titus-update

Titus has a beautiful Golden smile that can light up your day.

He is very observant and is always looking up… at birds, planes, helicopters and butterflies.

Titus came from a suburb of Los Angeles that is in the desert, so he enjoys roaching in the grass (even though ours is looking rather sad due to water rationing this year).  He sheds like crazy, as you can see from the tufts of fur all over… and that is after he was thoroughly brushed!

Titus is making himself at home and exploring his new neighborhood. He is friendly with other dogs but might not do very well with cats and small furry things. He is very gentle with humans and nudges with his nose or paw for pets. His technique for this reminds me a lot of Spencer. He has a very soft mouth and lies, beneath my desk, sprayed out like a frog and nuzzles my toes . Titus sleeps deeply at night but is an early riser and wakes up raring to go in typical young Golden fashion. The ideal family for Titus will be very active and willing to give him lots of exercise along with lots of attention. If you live in the SoCal area and think you could give Titus the love he deserves, contact the Southern California Golden Retriever Rescue. Who couldn’t love this big bear?

  1. I’m so that I live an ocean away. If I lived there I would have about 5 goldens roaming in my house right now! :)

Good Luck, TItus. I just love your name!

  2. Heya M & S,
Titus certainly is a handsome guy. Our Homer is a “shoveler” also when he needs to be petted. Scoops right in there with his head and starts things out for you. Maybe some Omega 3 capsule might help his shedding problem over a week or two, or even Dinovite. Both them things work pretty good on us. Homer needs the Dinovite for his coat and to stop his itching. Sophie needs the Omega 3 to slow/stop her shedding and hot spots.
