I’m back! Some of my friends were wondering what happened to me because my blog went missing for a little bit. The company who hosts all our company sites moved to a bigger building and all the servers were down for a few days. That meant no e-mail or blogs for a few days. Everything seems back to normal now.
A lot has happened since I’ve been gone. First, both Chloe and Sunny found their furever homes! I sure am happy for them!
Then this past weekend, the humans and I actually took time off from work (WHAT??!!) and went on a small day trip to Joshua Tree National Park. I was really excited to go there. The desert flowers are blooming along with all the Joshua trees and yucca plants. We packed up and headed out.
It was about a 3 hour trip from our house in Los Angeles. On the way there are mountains…
And I got to stop in a field for a pee break and to sniff out all the local field mice…
Then you drive through a wind turbine farm where they harvest energy. It looks like something out of a science fiction movie. The desert winds were very strong (see all the sand blowing?) so they must have made a lot of energy…
It goes for as far as you can see…
There are very nifty looking adobe style houses in the desert…
And then finally we were there! There were a lot of people coming to the park because of all the blooms.
Right away you see the Joshua trees everywhere, which is amazing because this is the only place in the world that they grow.
It was a very action packed trip so I’ll post more about my adventures soon.

You look pretty happy there riding in the car. I’m glad you enjoyed your day trip. Did you get to pee on any of those windmills?
We missed you! Oh, you’ve been having a great weekend. The mountains are bootiful! Good to hear that those two fellas found new homes already…
