Today I went to see Dr. Hernandez, my vet, for my check up. She works at Pet Medical Center in Santa Monica and she takes really good care of me. I jumped in the car and was ready to go. As usual I ended up waiting for the humans to get ready. They are so pokey!
I had the full senior check up…blood panel, x-rays and physical. I also got my rabies shot update…ouch…just kidding, it didn’t hurt at all. Then I got a hug from Dr. Hernandez.
I’m happy to say I checked out just swell so far. I just have a little arthritis so I have to take it easy chasing the tennis balls and get more massages…oh I think I can tolerate a few more massages, BOL! After the vet’s we went to a nearby park and watched some skateboarders at the skate park.
Then I got a couple of tennis balls in the dog run. There is a tennis court next door so tennis balls just fall from the sky there! If you wait just a minute, a new ball will fall. What a place!

Hey, Spencer! Glad you got your checkup and that everything was GOLDEN! Our mom manages a holistic vet clinic, and says your people are smart (almost as smart as goldens) to make sure you get that Wellness stuff done! I’m glad you liked your visit to the vet’s. I usually don’t like it too much… Oh, the tennis court is HAVEN! There was one time when I was in a tennis court at my training ground & then there was this family who were practicing playing tennis & there were like tons & tons of tennis balls flying all over the place! I had a great time chasing them all. My hoomans kept on stopping me coz they thought I was disturbing them but the family was nice & did not mind giving me one of the balls. Yippee! It was sooooo difficult to choose becoz they all looked the same!
