I thought I would introduce you to some of my cousins. Here are Deak and Chase. I call them the “low riders”.
They live waaaayyy up north in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada. Chase was adopted first. When he was a pup, he was flown into Yellowknife from the Fort Smith Animal Society by his humans. Chase is the feature dog for June in the Northwest Territorries SPCA calendar this year. I hope he doesn’t get a big head now that he’s famous.
Deak has just been adopted and is now Chase’s brother. He is more mature than Chase, but he’s learning some new tricks from the youngster.
In the summer the sun stays up all day in Yellowknife, so they have lots of time to play. Maybe one day I’ll get to go to Yellowknife to visit them. It’s a very long drive from Los Angeles!
I am a mix of Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever and Bassett Hound. Apparantly Tollers are supposed to like water, but not this one . . . I prefer the couch or the bed cuddled up to my mom and dad! These 4 feet must be on land!!!
Chase is so cute, what kind of dog is he?
Spencer, our long lost cousin. Hopefully we can meet some day and chase evil Squirrel’s together. We have our own pesky squirrel in our yard who sits on the fence chirping and natterin away at us!! Some day squirrel some day, we will battle!!!
Yellowknife is waaaaaaaaaaaaay up north. What do sawn-off-doggies do when it snows? Do they need stilts?
