This Sunday was perfect weather for a hike in the morning, so off to Griffith Park we went in search of a trail. We decided to head up Condor Trail and see what we could find…
We found some remnants of the 2007 fire..
…and kept climbing. Kona was very eager to explore and would cry if we stopped. His way of telling us to “Keep moving!”
The trail lead us to the top of peak “A-6” according to the survey marker. The boys took a break to check out the 360 degree view.
The clouds were cute and looking out across Glendale you can see the Verdugo Mountains in the foreground with the San Gabriel range (home of the Angeles National Forest and many great hikes) in the background.
We decided to head down before the temperatures climbed.
Back at home, Kona had a shower to clean up for his pet therapy schedule this week.
He felt very frisky afterward and got pretty silly….
After all that action, it was time for a good nap in the sun with a little friend.
Beautiful clouds. Beautiful fur kid :)
Thanks Farley.
I can’t wait to hear about his adventures with therapy this week!
Thanks Janelle. I wish we could write a lot more and include photos about our pet therapy visits but we’re limited by state privacy laws:(
that looked like a lot of fun!! I hike with my foster mom a lot in the hills of Orange County, and I love it!! p.s. I loved your stuffie!!
Dash
Thanks Dash!
Looks like Kona had another full day!
Sam
Indeed he did Sam!
I love how frisky Goldens get after a shower! Harlow rolled in some… something last night, and ended up getting an impromptu front-yard shower last night. She always gives us this baleful look that indicates a loss of dignity from the front-yard shower!
They love to roll in stuff don’t they. Our personal best was our first golden, Raja, who rolled in a dead skunk…extremely gross and immediate shower:)
