Rain, Rain, Go Away.

After a week of beautiful sunshine, I woke up to this today…rain.

So instead of my morning walk, I hung out in the doorway and watched the rain fall. Notice how I  conveniently  got the humans to put my blanket there for me?

After work I came home and snuggled up on my living room bed because we had a nice and toasty warm fire going in the fireplace.

It’s really nice and green outside so I hope all the rain goes away soon so I can go sniff all the flowers!

    All of us Bumpass Hounds are very sad to hear that you are feeling so bad. We are howling to the sky to ask DOG to make your get better. We have asked all of our friends to howl too. We send our prayers and best caring wishes to you and your people. You started us in blogging cuz we wanted to be like you. You have has done lots of good work helping dogs less fortunate than you find good homes. We remember how you and your people worked to help dogs like the little puppies Ben and Jerry; you are an inspiration for all of us. We know how much your people love you and they will take the very best care of you that they can. They will always do what is best for you because they love you as much as you love them; you are a family. You are not alone in your fight, we are all standing with you.

  5. Hi Spencer! I don’t like the rain much, either, but my mom always tells me that it’s good for the flowers so they’ll be nice and healthy and I can enjoy eating them – woops, I mean sniffing them! – when the rain stops. You sure look cozy there – pleasant dreams!

  6. Aw…there’s nothing cozier than seeing you all cozy and snug in front of a nice fire. I don’t like the rain either, but my mom always tells me that it’s good for the grass and flowers so I can go out and eat – woops, I mean sniff – them again.
