This past weekend was perfect weather for hiking. Off to Griffith Park we went, our destination…top of this hill.
Kona found a less used path to the top. Easy for him, not so easy for us with all the overhang. Let’s just say there was much ducking and scraping on the way up:)
Half way up and the view was already worth it.
At the top you can see all the easier paths winding through the hills….we took one of them back down.
Kona found a water fountain near the observatory to quench his thirst.
Paths make hiking so much easier:)

A tired dog is a happy dog.
Hey there, Kona (and Mom)
It’s wonderful to see your beautiful face again! That walk looks pretty awesome too! There is nothing like a wild ramble walk…unfortunately we don’t have many of those here in Johannesburg city (which are dog friendly), so you are really a lucky pooch! We love your portable water bowl too – very clever indeed!
Lots of licks and love from us all
Your friends in SOUTH AFRICA
Looks like a wonderful weekend, especially your big water fountain Kona!
Ah, what a lovely day!
Yeah Kona!!! Looks like you found a deer trail…. Lovely views, get that mom and dad going up up up! Great photos. Neat water dish too…haven’t seen one with a lid.
Have a great weekend sweet Kona.
Hugs and snaggle-tooth kisses,
Sierra Rose
What a fun trip! Can we go with you next time? :)
I want a dog, too!
You are such good human parents. Hugs from the east coast. Guess what! It’s going to SNOW tomorrow. Has Kona ever seen snow? Let me know in my shout box, please. Lovely weekend. :D

Amazing pictures! Beautiful scenery. They remind me of my favourite activity. Taking long walks with my Scottish Terrier is always a great pleasure for me and my dog loves it even better. Thanks!

Sophie has a portable water bowl too! It’s the best as she is also a hiker. Kona has an adventurous side-taking the unpaved route to the top.
Where did you find Kona his beautiful collar?
We got this collar for Kona here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/WoodinYou
It’s very nice and seems to be holding up to a lot of wear and tear.
Looks like another beautiful day in LA ! To spend it together as a family working out is a good gift…how evident it is that you all appreciate that. Cheers !
