I just want to say a big thank you to everyone for all the kind comments on my ramblings about loving and loss. Everyone who has loved someone (dog or human) and gone through the pain of losing them, knows exactly how I feel…both are a universal experience. I didn’t mean to wallow, and I do have so many beautiful memories of all our boys that far outweigh the hurt of letting them go.
So for a lighter moment, and a smile for your weekend, I present one of those moments…Krazy Kona! (shout out to Khyra!) This was taken after Kona posed with all his toys neatly piled for a shot I call “The Collector”. Right after we finished, it was “Game on!”, with Kona rolling around in the toys and tossing them into the air.
Hope you all have a great weekend, get out and have some fun with someone you love!
What a great shot of joy! We are all glad to share the sorrow and the hard memories as well as the laughter. Some days thoughts of our Spencer, gone now nearly three years catches in my throat and makes my heart tight. Some are like that; smiles intertwined with bittersweet.
Jeanne
Thanks Jeanne. Life has both joy and sorrow to make us appreciate them each for what they teach us:)
Awesome photo!
Sam
Thanks Sam!
Daisy is jealous of that pose, she’s a toy girl and that looks like toy heaven.
Tucker and Daisy
If we were on the same coast Daisy would be welcome to come peruse the stuffie basket…it sits overflowing on our living room:)
Ahhhhh!
How khute ;-)
I guess that is what Khousin Harley has he empties my toybox – only he leaves them around ME!
Happy Weekend!
Hugz&Khysses,
Khyra
Thank Kyhra. You can never have too many stuffies…Harley knows:)
Ha, I love this photo. We call Harlow the hoarder. Her favorite place to hang out is on the landing on our stairs. She’ll be at “the command post” with her blankie, her duck, her chewy bone, her squeaky bone, her tiger and her ball. Prepared for anything, that dog.
Thanks Courtney! Love that Harlow does the same thing.
Love this pic – Kona looks so happy but I think any dog would with all those toys to play with! :-)
Thanks, we keep an army of stuffies to keep our pups happy:)
