Meet Pang Pang, another rescue who found her way to America from Taiwan. This happy girl now spreads Golden smiles as a therapy dog.

Such a pleasant face! Could you share the stories of how they ended up coming from Taiwan?

Thanks Sam. The dogs come from Taiwan after they are rescued from the streets. People buy them as puppies and when they get too big, they get tired of caring for them or they are finished using them for breeding, they let the dogs go on the streets. More than 80,000 dogs are euthanized in Taiwan every year. Rescue groups there, co-ordinate with rescue groups here to find the bigger dogs homes in America, as it is harder to place the larger breeds in Taiwan due to living spaces being smaller.
