Lucky Luke is a very good natured boy with people but would rather not share his space with other dogs or cats. We think he deserves all the attention he wants. This sweet boy loves to be brushed, petted and loved. He is a complete velcro dog and will be by your side no matter were you go. Did we mention he loves to have something in his mouth all the time? He’s a true Golden.
Luke is very aware of everything around him and has a good sense of adventure. Once he sheds a few pounds, I’m sure he’ll be chasing balls and going on hikes. He had the senior version of the zooms today… roaching in a circle energetically.
He gets very happy when you give him something to carry. On his walk, he likes to carry his leash. He was pretty speedy when he spied a squirrel in the hedge and had to investigate. After all that, Luke enjoys a good brushing and leg massage and then a big sleep. He is house-trained and knows “sit”, “stay”, “shake”, “heel” and “come” as well as “go get it”. He’s very smart, easy going and just looking for a place to hang out in his twilight years. Interested adopters in California can contact Homeward Bound.
What a cute golden, reminds me of my first dog, Tubby. He used to bound up to me everyday as I got up to go to school. Luke is so cute!

Luke is so beautiful and from the sounds of it, has a wonderful personality! Love those particular stuffies in his mouth with his coat!

He sure is a handsome guy. We have a number of seniors and they are great friends and aren’t as much maintenance as those young pup rascals. We kinda hope that he doesn’t stay with y’all too long but moves on to a long happy and healthy life in a great furever home.
