Jake is really enjoying having us all to himself and loves to play. He has so much energy we have dubbed him “the Red Rocket”. I have a feeling this guy would be really good at agility. After a big walk, in the mornings, we have a high energy play. Jake loves the Westpaw ball. He could do an ad for their frisbee too. He spent a whole afternoon chewing it and there isn’t even one tooth mark on it…amazing!
The Red Rocket in action…
Once he gets it he puts his paw on it so it will stay still for a minute.
On the really hot days he likes to chase the stream of water from the hose. He jumps up to bite the water and will race around after it.
Once he’s a little tired he offers up his belly for rubs. It’s one of his favorite things.
Such wonderful action shots! My gosh Jake is a wonderful subject and so photogenic! I love the redheads that is for sure. Oh he would be a hard one to let go of….but aren’t they all….LOL

Heya M & S,
Boy, Jake looks like he’s enjoying life a lot better than if he were waiting for adoption in a shelter. Red Rocket is a great call sign (nick name) for this guy. Y’all are doing agreat job with this guy and a great service for him. We is proud to know such “Fabulous, Simply Fabulous” peoples as youse twos. Remember, we’re your buddies:
– The Bumpass Hounds and Kittes
Looks like a Golden being a Golden to us! What a big old sweetie he is!
Wags and woofs,
Benson and Gibson
ohh he look fantastic!
Jake is really handsome. His chasing the water hose reminds me of my
childhood dog/pal. She loved chasing the water. A sprinkler was loads of
fun for her too. I just know someone is going to be really lucky to have Jake
added to their family.
Enjoying life- that is all that matters!
Congratulations to Sky/Murphy on his new home. You’re doing a wonderful job with these fosters! Jake has such a noble face and seems like a great guy. Have fun, Jake!
See ya!
