It’s true… Candy found her forever home today! We knew she would find a home quickly because she was a super special girl. Candy had a very long journey even though she was only 2 years old…she was found on the streets in Taiwan, spent almost a year in rescue there, flew 12 hours to America to live in a foster home and then find her forever family. She’s pretty happy about the whole thing too!
She had a busy day before meeting her new family. After her morning walk, she had a cuddle with fellow foster, Sky.
Then she and Sky had a contest to see who could look the most ferocious… it was a tie!
After that they tried to draw and quarter a teddy bear.
We’ll miss Candy. Even though she was only with us a week, it felt like we knew her forever. Candy will be living in the mountains outside of Los Angeles and has a big sister to play with. We’re sure she’ll be very happy with her new family and have a great time in her new home.
Yes this is an emotional blog! It’s such a great read and it brings tears of joy everytime I read that someone has been adopted. They are all wonderful dogs who deserve to be in loving homes.
Great news! We are so happy, we love hearing the happy endings like this! We love you Candy and we wish you a life filled with love, happiness, and lots of treats and walkies :)

Wow that was quick….so very happy for Candy that she found her forever home and will have a playmate too. I bet Sky will miss her as those pics of the 2 of them are just precious. I am sure that you will keep Sky busy though with lots of fun stuff to do. We are sending out lots of love to Candy and Sky!

Love the picture of the “ferocious” dogs. Looks like my house. I hope Sky is doing okay now that Candy has moved along. I am sure the home cooked meals help him feel loved.
All the best,
Judy
I agree with everyone. So happy for Miss Candy. She appeared so well adjusted to have gone through so many changes in her short little life. She doesn’t know it yet, but hopefully this will be her forever home and she will not have to ever go through any more changes. Goldens are so loving and intuitive of others feelings. How wonderful that she was there for Sky, to help him get over his sadness. I am sure he misses her, but I know you are both giving him lots of hugs and cuddles. Good people. good example for the world to see.
Much love,
Sophie

Bravo-Zulu for M and S. Way to go guys. Once again the mystical guidance from above intervenes to place beautiful Candy in her new loving furever home. Good on youse guys. Here’s hoping that it doesn’t take long for Sky to find his new loving furever home. We think that you deserve recognition for your efforts.
