Water Therapy

Today Ben went for a water therapy session. He was very excited when he walked in and saw the pool. I could barely hold him long enough for the therapist to get a life jacket on him, he jumped in as soon as we let him go. He got an underwater massage and some extensions on his hip and leg to warm him up for swimming. You can see him looking at me saying “Let’s get to the swimming part already!”.

The pool was long so Ben could swim laps up and down after a toy. He is fantastic at water retrieval and a very strong swimmer.

The therapist was happy to see Ben having so much fun and exercising his leg.

Ben didn’t want to get out of the water at the end of his session but  he was happy to get another massage and a towel dry once he finally did.

He needs to be adopted by a family with a pool. That shouldn’t be too hard to find here in So Cal.

  1. Wow! Seems like Ben sure loves the water and retrieving, what a suprise, eh? Typical Golden boy he is! We are so happy that Ben is with you and that you are taking such good care of him, water therapy sounds really neat. We hope Ben finds a good home of his own furever furry soon!

  2. What a perfect facility for water therapy. It is much better than the treadmill tanks. Ben sure didn’t seem frustrated by the therapy session. We’re sending Bumpass vibes for him to get a furever home with a heated pool and a loving and caring furever family. Keep us posted even aftyer he goes back to his foster parents. Y’all have us hooked now,

  3. Oh how our Samantha would love that sort of an afternoon! Ben looks so happy to be having that wonderful water therapy and massage. If only we could have another doggie, but I know someone will fall in total love with Ben! Hugs and Kisses to him from xo
