I am taking a puppy break today…ok, I just pawed them off on the humans, BOL! Guess what? I got a package in the mail! Once I got home I opened it up….with a little help from the humans because it’s hard to open boxes with paws. Inside was 2 bowls from DogPause, a company that invented a bowl for dogs who eat too fast. Eating too fast can lead to bloat which can be deadly, so this is a GReat invention!
Inside were brand new bowls. They have 4 compartments for the food and because of the way they are designed that makes you eat a little slower. I liked the blue one so I decided to give it a try.
I have my dishes elevated because it is also good for us big dogs who are susceptible to bloat. My stand was just a little too high for the DogPause bowl so I had it put on the floor.
It worked! I did eat slower than normal. I have a GReat big head so I had to use my tongue more to get the food. Can you see my jowls barely fit, BOL! I think we’ll have to try it out with the puppies, especially Ben, because they gulp their food very fast. So a big thanks to DogPause…Thanks!!!

I think it’s more fun to eat too! I don’t inhale my food all that fast. Do you? But I usually don’t chew my food properly so it causes me to cough sometimes. Same with Chloe. Mommy knows about this bloating problem so she elevates our bowl on the 1st step of the stairs. Not too tall, not too low. Just nice!
